Welcome to ACG Jakarta. We are currently seeking an experienced Vice Principal/PYP Coordinator to join our school in August 2024.

The Vice Principal and PYP Coordinator promotes inquiry learning strategies within the PYP framework to create a positive learning environment that motivates and challenges all learners to become self-regulated, life-long learners and leaders. In this role you will be responsible for the coordination and pedagogical leadership of the early years and IB primary years programme including:

  • Liasing between IB and the school
  • Developing the PYP and it's implementation
  • Ensuring PYP articulation
  • Contributing to the IB authorization process
  • Promoting Professional development opportunities.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Ability to support the Principal to set the tone for the culture, through role modelling the schools values and IB learner profile in their action and communication.
  • Strength in mentoring new and coaching current teachers in PYP practices and their application
  • A strong pedagogical understanding of the PYP and its implementation within a culturally diversity school setting.
  • Ability to facilitate and encourage strong collaborative practices.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks within and without the Primary Section of the school.
