Welcome to the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) . We are currently seeking experienced Inspectors to join our team.

KHDA are seeking experienced Inspectors to start as soon as possible. They are looking for Inspectors who have a good understanding of school improvement leading from school inspection and with specific subject know and / or experience of Early Childhood, Inclusion and Wellbeing, International Assessment, IB curriculum or the US curriculum.

Vacancy Requirements:

  • Fully qualified teacher status with an internationally recognised teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience in a similar leadership role.
  • Good understanding of school improvement leading from school inspection and with specific subject know and / or experience of Early Childhood or Inclusion and Wellbeing.
  • Due to work visa restrictions candidates must be below the age of 55 years old.

Required knowledge, skills and attitudes:

  • Broad and current knowledge of inspection/accreditations
  •  A sound understanding of the issues relating to school improvement, enhancing learning and the raising of standards in relation to all students, including those with special needs 
  • Up-to-date knowledge of special education needs issues in schools and an understanding of best international practice in relation to inclusion, children’s rights and UAE law
  • Understanding of the religious and cultural sensitivities surrounding work in the Middle east 
  • Understanding of the international best practice in school effectiveness
  • High standard of oral and written communication in English
  • Well-developed IT skills 
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to form positive relationships and interaction with all stakeholder groups
  • Ability to make clear and well organised presentations to groups of key stakeholders
